I was watching a man standing in front of the fountain at the front of the building I work in. I told N to look and joked that there was a man about to jump into the fountain. To my suprise, he sorta did.
The Work Sucks Tour at the Blinding Light last night was great. The highlights were some videos on how to avoid paper cuts and to not walk around the workplace with your eyes shut because you might bump into something. The images accidentally distorting like a funhouse mirror during the fascist-like motivational speaker video was also hilarious. I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying when that happened. One of the hosts was particularly funny as he recounted his experiences as a elementary school substitute teacher. I bought two self-published chapbooks from him. He priced them as 50 cents. Being from the US, I didn't think he realized that our dollar is worth significantly less than that. I gave him a five and left him smiling. Nesha had a great time too and wanted to go to more of these events. N and Bobby liked it too.
