Eeep! There are too many things happening this weekend. I probably have to come into work tomorrow morning to deal with all the work that has accumulated but hopefully, I can get out early. I'm arranging to pick up Nesha sometime in the early afternoon. That means I'll have to get to work at the crack of dawn.
After that, we're going to shop for some clothes for her. She needs more fun clothes. We have to decide what we want to do in the evening. Lorelei's birthday party is happening tomorrow at the same time as the Neverland Follies Burlesque. And then there's Artropolis but that will still be there until the end of the month. We also wanted to see A Mighty Wind sometime this weekend, as well as the new Matrix Reloaded movie. Sigh... what to do? There's also the Fallen 2 fashion show coming up on Sunday.
Originally, all I wanted to do was spend some down-time with Nesha watching movies at home and hanging out by the water. I suppose I'll have to find a gift for the birthday girl before tomorrow evening.
I'm sitting at my desk with a lei around my neck. One of my coworkers is taking a one year hiatus from work to sail around the world. Today's her last day at work. We're throwing a tropical-themed potluck celebration for her. She got a doctor's note permitting her to do this. Lucky girl. Why doesn't my doctor prescribe things like this for me? All I ever get are antibiotics that mess up my digestive system.
