Mar. 12th, 2006 08:28 pmI now have a large, puck-shaped bruise under the hollow of my throat. The shot just somehow went under my hanging throat protector. I thought my chest pad covered that area. Since this is the second time it has happened, I guess I should look into a padded collar.
I was playing really good for the first half until a play where I quickly cut across to catch a passed shot. Everyone thought I caught it and so did I until I looked into my glove. It was empty and the puck was sitting behind my leg just over the goal line. I lied that it didn't go in. :P
I felt so guilty about lying and felt so flustered that I played terribly for the rest of the evening. I'm such a bad fibber.
The screens appeared again. I'm really going to put my anti-screen plans into action in the next game.
The ferret sleeps a lot. It has continued to ignore the litterbox and use my hallway instead. At least it isn't using my carpeted area. I'm also don't have to clean the litterbox but I'm sure using up a lot of toilet paper to clean up!
