The really cute Québécoise girl here at work keeps trying to talk me into transferring to her department to work beside her and design covers. I am very tempted. :)

I know that this other department had just gotten all the covers transferred to them from across Canada and one of the two people who work on covers has just transferred to another department. I guess I should at least look into what the open position actually is and if there is a difference in pay.

I just talked to the person who left that specific graphic design position. The job itself seems interesting and would involve a lot more creativity. It's not just designing covers but a whole range of products. The pay is also a bit more and the workload is as much as you want to take on.

But...I've been warned that the cute girl slacks off a lot. The other girl who worked with her tells me that while she has completed about 120 pojects, that person has only done about 30. She had left that position because she ended up taking on a lot of work and wanted something more lowkey even if that meant she won't be paid as much. Apparently, the girl who is still there likes to surf the internet and talk to friends on the phone, usually in the morning. And she has a lot of tricks to make it look like she's busy.

On the other hand, she is really cute! :P
And I hear that the guy who sits across from her would love for me to join their team because he's the only guy there and is hoping for some male bonding!

I think my next step is to do some more research by sitting with that person to see exactly what the job involves.
