piscesdreamsYesterday, (another) one of our coworkers left as she is moving to Campbell River with her family. She had brought in 4 boxes of donuts and muffins for all of us in the morning. We went out and treated her to lunch. It was so hot out there that I actually looked forward to working in the office. The air conditioning is worth it!
With all the donuts, the large lunch (the Thai chicken rollup at Milestones is yummy!) and the "farewell" cake, I definately needed a good workout later in the evening. I rediscovered the goodness that comes with a sleeveless shirt as I worked up a good sweat.
I'm actually lucky that I live so close to the ocean as it doesn't get as hot as the areas further inland. I love bugging my friends by telling them that it's so cold in my building that I had to put on a sweater.
