The Bollywood idol show, Ek Tara! took place at Massey Theater in New Westminster. With all the popular mainstream shows out there including If You Think You Can Dance and American Idol, this local Vancouver talent show sets out to find the best Bollywood singing and dancing talent in the community. The show is looking for Ek Tara! (a star).

Ek Tara! provides lovers of Bollywood song and dance an opportunity to follow their dreams.

Flamenco is a global art form that is gaining great popularity in Vancouver. Originating with the gypsies in Andalucia, Flamenco has grown beyond the boundaries of Spain and now belongs to the world. Flamenco dance and music embodies universal and genuine human emotion, which transcends culture to touch the souls of all people.

Al Mozaico Flamenco Dance Academy was founded by Oscar Nieto and Kasandra in 2002. The word, Mozaico, refers to the mosaic of students from different ethnic backgrounds, ages, fitness levels and economic circumstances who are drawn to the world of flamenco and come to study at the Academy. Over the years, Oscar and Kasandra have brought countless devotees to the art of Flamenco.

The Chariot Festival has been in existence for thousands of years and is one of the oldest and biggest festivals in the world

The Chariot Festival revolves around the Deity form of the Lord of the Universe, "Jagannatha", on the occasion when He comes out of His temple once a year to ride on His magnificent Chariots. Lord Jagannatha, together with His brother Lord Baladeva and His sister, Lady Subadra, are pulled through the streets on chariots.
