piscesdreamsI woke up on Sunday morning to the sound of my phone ringing. "Oh boy!!", I thought. "My sister in in town from Seattle and we're going for dim sum!" :D
No... it was a person doing market research. :(
Nesha and I went out to Jonny's Hot Dogs for lunch. The service was terrible this time. It took a long time to get our order, they forgot to give me a slushee, and the food got to us cold. Maybe it was because the owner was away at the PNE. At least we were given some fresh fries to replace the cold ones. It was then that I realized all the exotic weiners tasted all the same. I couldn't tell the difference between the bison or the wild boar. (How can they call it "wild boar" when they also state that they're organically raised??) And they were quite expensive. I think we'll go to one of the hot dog carts along the beach from now on although the sweet potato fries were very good.
Plans to rent scooters to go around the park were cancelled because traffic looked heavy and we didn't want to waste our money and time sitting behind the cars. Maybe we'll do this early in the morning next weekend.
Nesha told me about the two guys chatting her up at the table during the cabaret show. I was suprised since they didn't say anything to us when I joined her after talking to my friend Claire. Nesha said they got the hint that she wasn't in a talkative mood because of the stress from work earlier. They got the message and stopped talking to her after receiving a few one word replies. I'm perfectly fine with her talking to other guys, or anyone, when we're out. I trust her completely and encourage her to make friends and socialise. People can be quite interesting.
